2) In April 1993, he was arrested for his involvement in terrorist activities. In October 1995, he was granted bail by the Supreme Court and in December 1995, Sanjay was again taken into custody. He was then released on bail in April 1997.

3) The trial of the case was held in 2006, the case lasted from 2006 to 2007 and during this time Sanjay was kept in Arthur Road Jail and Pune Jail.

4) Sanjay's verdict came on 31 July 2007 and he was sentenced to 6 years rigorous imprisonment. He applied against the sentence and got interim bail on 20 August 2007.
